There are different ways to interact with pen. These primarily come as innovations rendered to the pen. A writing instrument which is good for you may not be good for others. Using a pen is purely your preference and you have to see your comfort level for it.

The parameters to choose a pen are mostly related to ease, class of writing, impression and style. No pen is a set standard for all these parameters. So, we keep on changing our preference according to the options available. In that case also we stick to some particular qualities which we feel necessary for handwriting.

The preference for a ballpoint pen is most common among the writers. It is very convenient for frequent writing. At least, you don't associate fear of leaking with a ballpoint pen. You are fast with it because friction is not an obstruction. What else, you don't need to concentrate highly on grip.

Then there is a fibre-tip pen. It is a good offering for putting signatures and writing bigger words which we form for addresses and few important words to highlight.

Students prefer a micro-tip pen because they have to do a lot of practice to master their interest. This pen is like a runner of marathon. That makes it useful to practise on any subject at length. It is a tireless pen whose stamina is ink which is very easy to get filled.

About a fountain pen, we are still fascinated by it. When it is smooth, it is writing magic. You feel that magic without applying pressure on your grip and pen. The advantage with the fountain pen is that once its nib becomes familiar to the angle that you use while writing, it will later on adopt that angle for you. That is why a fountain pen takes no time becoming part of your personality.

The attraction of any fountain pen is its nib or it is better to say it is the essence of a fountain pen. A fountain pen is not right for you unless it has right paper and right ink. It can offer you nibs with different tips. Mainly they are stretchy, stiff, broad, slender, straight and chiseled.

We have a common belief that the matter of a nib is very important. Yes, it is, but not too much that we think of. Writing depends more on the shape of a nib than the way you use it. You can't write comfortably with a fexible nib if your hold on pen is tough.

The other factor important for a nib is its size. Opt the size, which goes with your handwriting. If you make small letters, you need a finer tip. A bold tip can mess your letters. The size of the nib can be extra-fine, fine, medium, and bold. Understand your writing style; then choosing a pen will not be a problem for you.

Thickness and weight of a pen is the next important thing. The ballpoint pens are convenient to hold because of their slender shape. We use the pen with thick barrel for our empathy for it. A selection for the shape and size of a pen depends more on your fingers. If you have long fingers, you'll probably prefer a thick pen. Heavy or light, that depends on how far you want to go with it and your personal liking for it. There are far more pens available than your choices for them.

A pen in hand

How you hold a pen defines how you are going to write with it. If the hold is not proper, you can't please anyone with your handwriting. It will also exhaust your fingers unreasonably. Holding a pen is quite a natural activity. The thumb and the forefinger give it a good grip. Balance it using a lower part of the middle finger. Other parts of a hand, up to elbow, you can put on the paper lightly for better support. Bend your fingers a bit but don't let them twist towards the palm.

Hold the pen in such a way that it looks like resting on the junction of the thumb and the forefinger. Don't give it a direction which either leans away or towards you. Place the tip of a pen in the line of your arm. The best angle between the tip of a pen and the paper is about 45 degrees while with the writing line it could be anything between 30 - 4S degrees.

Movements of a pen

It is the hand that makes you move a pen and not the fingers. Movement of a pen comes with the coordination between the positions of fingers, palm, wrist, elbow and shoulder. It is not only fingers and wrist, which bring movements to the writing. If this is the case, then it should be called finger writing or wrist writing rather than handwriting. It is the involvement of a complete hand that makes it called handwriting.

You can write longer if you can avoid the exhaustion of finger muscles unnecessarily and use the main muscles of the arm justly. Unless you use your wrist and elbow as a pivot, you can't move your fingers for tireless writing. Your hand should be placed lightly on paper and let it shift effortlessly left to right as you go on. Try to write maximum letters in one position. As you move further, stretch the hand out to the right by moving the forearm, let your elbow work as a pivot. Keep on doing this until you come to the next line.

Pen treasures thoughts

Although everything takes birth from thinking, we give more importance to working. This difference is there because we can only see work, not thoughts. Despite the fact, that it is thought which when changes form appears as work. How much importance we can give to our thoughts is our sincerity for them.

By and large, we really don't have any indispensable place for them, and that makes us little attention givers to our thoughts and their impacts on life. If taken literally, thoughts come from thinking which is the process of using our mind to consider different aspects carefully, but that careful consideration gets completed only when we write it completely.

Everyone who thinks is a thinker, but as we associate depth with it we may not be possibly true thinkers. Anyway, why do we need perfection in it? We are not aiming at to be a philosopher. Do we justify relating thoughts to a philosopher always? That is where our thinking is a bit limited and changes our view to see thoughts with lesser importance.

A philosopher thinks more for others than for himself. Similarly, we also think. But we want our thoughts to work for us only. Thinking is as important for us as it is for a philosopher.

What we think, when we think and why we think - we are not always very sure of them. Nor we pay any attention to them. Sometimes, when we do, we do that to find solutions for our problems which either forces us to think or make us escape from them. It should not be like that. Thought is something which makes us see ourselves more devotional towards life if they don't get caught in negligence.

A pen in hand and you have no work to do. You can work on your thoughts which come of your experience. You can write to analyse them for better. Here is a paragraph which a working professional has written at his work place after some experiences.

The habit of giving thought to something, and then putting it on paper always helps us in improving our individuality. Actually, we feel that it won't help us. In that case, ask yourself, do your actions, work before thoughts or after thoughts? The answer to this question will help you to recognize the true importance of thoughts. Mostly we do first, then we think of its results and regret why didn't we do it after proper thinking. This approach helps us for the matters associated with relationship, business, studies, time pass and other issues.

Although we think most of the times, we don't conclude it to its best use and leave it in indecisive state. Many times we don't know that we are thinking. Take this example, what we do when we are in tension, we simply think, but we don't conclude it with any implementation. So it remains what it was. Even not reaching to any conclusion, only increases the tension further. On the other hand, it could have reverse effect if you have drawn some conclusion of it. Thinking should be in your habit and you shouldn't mind penning any thought anywhere. That is how you can confirm any gain from it. This conclusion gives you direction and when you have direction you are, at least, sure of your path. It gives you a reason to choose from many confusing options. You are better organized with it.

We should give proper attention to coming of thoughts since they don't let you know when they will be move out. It is always good to pen them as soon as they come and seem relevant or solution-oriented. We are all literate enough to write our thoughts and after that interpret them for our well-being. Don't avoid them. They can definitely help you in improving the cause of what is related to you. If you are a bit lazy to put pen to paper, think that you hardly need few words to write, to change the language of your life.

We are forgetful by nature even if our memory is great. The wise decision is not to try to keep them in mind but to put them on paper. It's not a big issue. You need to have a small paper and a pen with you all the time. You shouldn't have problem in keeping them because every dress can have pocket. You can go somewhere without bag but not without dress.

We generally keep a pen and a paper with us, but we mostly use them to write telephone numbers, appointments, grocery articles and such other things. We hardly use them to write thoughts though we are in fundamental requirement of their support. May be writing thoughts can develop a writer in you, for example, regularly maintaining a diary of day to day events. Writing thought as they come can be a foundation stone in building your personality more beautiful and balanced.

We also use our thoughts to aid our emotions like crying, laughing, excitement, but why don't we use them to give birth to emotions. When we do that, we become a poet. Don't forget its importance for sentiments too.

This habit can make you more responsible and timely for everything even when the things are not in your control. You don't need to worry about anything. Somewhere it will let you think that you have given your best with required sincerity. After that it is your destiny which will work. As you are answerable to yourself, you have given your answer by working on it.

It is not only that, you can keep a tight rein on your future by writing the thoughts. When you work on your thoughts your activities appear and exist well planned, systematic and reasonable. Thus, you have less chances of going away from the right course. These all develop from your simple behaviour of penning the thoughts.

After reading above words, you will not hold opposing view with this statement "while thoughts originate in mind, pen retains it".
