ALMOND-CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM

ALMOND-CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups milk

2 tsps cornflour

7 tbsps sugar

1 slab plain chocolate

1 cup thick cream

20 almonds

Method:

Make caramel by heating sugar in a pan. Spread the caramel on a greased plate and crush when cool.

Melt the chocolate over a bowl of hot water. Boil milk and add melted chocolate and cornflour (instead of chocolate slab drinking chocolate could also be used.)

Remove from fire and cool. Freeze for one hour. Remove beat well and add the crushed caramel, 1/2 cup cream and 10 almonds chopped.

 

Freeze till firm. While serving top with the other half cup of cream and chopped almonds.
