Aamras with kesar

1 kg ripe mangoes

¼ teaspoon saffron threads, roasted and crushed

1 cup sugar, powdered

2 ½ cups milk, chilled

Remove the pulp from the mangoes. Pass through a thin piece of muslin.


Add the powdered sugar and the chilled milk. Stir in the saffron. Serve chilled.
