Carrot and tomato smoothies

Carrot and tomato smoothies

8 medium carrots, cut into l-inch cubes

12 medium tomatoes, quartered

1 celery stalk, chopped Salt to taste

1 teaspoon black pepper powder

4 tablespoons lemon juice

Ice cubes

Place the carrots and tomatoes in the freezer till completely frozen.

Place the frozen tomatoes in a blender and blend for a few seconds. Add the frozen carrot cubes and blend again.

Add the celery, salt and pepper powder and blend till smooth.

Add the ice cubes, lemon juice and blend for a few seconds.

 

Serve chilled in individual stemmed glasses.
