Corn And Paneer Paratha

Corn and Cottage Cheese Stuffed Bread


1 cup corn kernels

1 cup crumbled cottage cheese

500 gm cream of wheat, roasted

1 tbsp ginger-chilli paste

1 tbsp coriander leaves

1/4 cup sour yogurt

1/2 tsp asafoetida

1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

Salt to taste

Wheat flour to roll

Oil for frying


1. Crush corn kernels and mix with cottage cheese, cream of wheat, ginger-chilli paste, coriander, yogurt, asafoetida, sugar, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.

2. Add enough wheat flour to make the dough stiff.

3. Divide the dough into walnut sized balls and lightly roll it out on a floured surface.

4. Heat a little oil on a griddle and fry the parathas. Serve hot with garlic chutney.

Makes 12-14 parathas
