DOUBLE SUNDAE WITH CREAM AND NUTS

DOUBLE SUNDAE WITH CREAM AND NUTS

Ingredients:

500 ml vanilla ice cream  

200 ml chocolate ice cream

150 ml thick cream

10 almonds chopped

10 cashewnuts chopped

A few glazed cherries

1 slab plain chocolate

25 gms butter

Method:

Heat water in a pan. Put the slab of chocolate in a bowl and place the bowl over the pan of hot water. Beat well and add the butter. Once the mixture becomes glossy remove from pan. In a serving dish put one scoop of vanilla ice cream and one scoop of chocolate ice cream. Whip cream over a bowl of ice-cubes till stiff and pour over the ice cream. Trickle the melted chocolate over the cream and garnish with copped nuts.

 

NOTE: Prepare the chocolate and cream just before serving. If melting chocolate earlier re-heat over a pan of hot water but never over direct heat.
