RUSSIAN CREAM CAKE

RUSSIAN CREAM CAKE

Ingredients:

1 tin condensed milk

100 gms butter

1 tbsp vinegar

1 tsp soda

1 packet custard

1/2 cup cream

1/2 cup cherries

1/2 cup chopped nuts

3 tsps cocoa

Method:

 

 

Beat condensed milk till thick, Add butter and beat again. Once mixture is creamy add the maida little by little till well mixed and creamy. Add soda and pour the vinegar. Divide the pastry into 2 parts. Add cocoa to one part and pour over the other part. Bake till well cooked. Make custard according to instructions given on pack with sugar to taste. Whip cream. Mix custard and cream together and pour over cake. Garnish with cherries and nuts and chill till required. This cake could also be served with ice cream.
