SEMOLINA PANCAKES

SEMOLINA PANCAKES

2 teacups fine semolina (rawa)

1 teacup fresh curds

1 teacup cooked corn or J

teacup finely chopped

cabbage

2 green chillies, chopped

1/2 teaspoon soda bi·carb

2 teaspoons melted ghee or oil

2 pinches asafoetida

salt to taste

For cooking

ghee

For serving

coconut chutney

If you plan ahead, this snack is very easy to make.

Preparation time: 10 minutes.

Cooking time: 15 minutes.

Makes about 18 pancakes

Mix the semolina and curds with 1 teacup of water and keep aside for at least 5 to 6 hours.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix very well.

Prepare small pancakes on a non-stick frying pan using a little ghee.

Serve hot with coconut chutney.
