Gyan Mudra

In this posture, the tip of the first fingers of both hands are made to touch the tip of the thumbs gently, while the remaining three fingers are kept straight. Hold this mudra for at least 10-15 minutes.

This mudra helps in increasing memory, controlling anger, irritation and lethargy and in cultivating positive thinking. It is effective in curing nervous or mental ailments, insomnia and relieves headaches. It also helps in concentration of mind and thus is very helpful in meditation.
