Sit on the ground on the toes with the feet and heels together under the anus. Keep the knees apart and hands open on the knees. With the head downwards and tongue out, concentrate between the eyebrows.

Care should be taken that the heels touch the anus while sitting on the toes. The feet should be raised in such a way that both the heels are in contact.

It helps in nervous weakness, weak eyesight and stammering. It relieves the ailments of the oral cavity, teeth, tongue, jaws and throat. It generates fearlessness and helps in making voice clear.

By practice ofthis asana automatically 3 bandhas (locks) - mul bandha, uddian bandha and jalhandhar bandha are applied.
