1 teacup moong dal skin
2 teacups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
2 teaspoons coarsely powdered coriander seeds
3 finely chopped green chillies
2 teaspoons oil
1 boiled and mashed potato
salt to taste
oil or ghee for frying
A very different type of paratha.
Preparation time : 20 minutes.
Cooking time : 20 minutes.
Makes 8 parathas.
Mix all the ingredients and add water to make a soft dough.
Roll out into thick rotis and cook on a tawa (griddle) on both sides with oil until pink spots come on top.
Serve hot with curds.
