Garlic Chutney

INGREDIENTS

50 dry red chillies (bedki variety)

1/2 cup garlic cloves

3 tsp salt

1 tsp cumin seeds

Enough oil to bind

METHOD

1. Soak the chillies for fifteen minutes in water and drain.

2. Clean the garlic and make a paste on the stone with the help of a mortar.

3. Add salt and cumin seeds.

4. Make a fine paste with the help of a little oil.

5. Store in an airtight bottle.

 

Makes 1/2 cup
